Responsibilities
• Oversee the coordination and completion of strategic IT projects within the Consumer eHealth unit
• Compile project charters, business cases, and project plans to ensure alignment with business objectives
• Manage project requirements gathering, solution design, and delivery in compliance with enterprise architecture
• Develop and maintain strong stakeholder relationships, including with vendors, provincial agencies, and internal teams
• Report on project status, risks, and issues to project sponsors and steering committees
• Prepare and present project deliverables including status reports, risk logs, and project closure documentation
• Lead project governance, scheduling, resource allocation, and effective communication throughout the project lifecycle
Qualifications
Mandatory Qualifications:
• Bachelor degree, diploma or certificate in IT, Computer Science or related field of study
• 5 years of experience developing project deliverables including project charters, business cases, briefing notes, status reports, risk logs and project closures
• 5 years of experience successfully implementing IT solutions in an environment with project resources from across multiple teams or organizations
Desirable Qualifications:
• Currently active PMP or PGMP Certification as issued by the Project Management Institute or equivalent (attach a copy of the certificate)
• 3 years of demonstrated experience in the development, implementation or support of solutions aimed at citizen engagement or citizen access to their personal health information
• 3 years of demonstrated experience working in the health industry and knowledge of business practices, information, data and technology requirements
• 3 years of experience developing and maintaining positive stakeholder relationships across the organization, including executive level
• 3 years of experience developing change management deliverables including Change Strategy and Plans, Training Strategy and Plans, Stakeholder Impact Assessments, Communication Strategy and Plans
