Our client, a leading national financial services company, is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join their dynamic team located in downtown Toronto.

Responsibilities
* Responsible for the full cycle of accounting and month end process (includes but not limited to preparation of journal entries, accruals, pre-pays, reconciliations)
* Preparation of monthly financial reporting
* Communicate variances, root cause to senior leadership team
* Support the automation process (with a keen eye for process improvements)
* Support annual audit process
Qualifications
* 3+ yrs experience in full cycle accounting
* Preference to those coming from banking, financial services or lending institutions
* Post secondary education in a related discipline
* CPA or later stages pursuing
* Analytical mindset
* Results oriented and ability to work with a high degree of independence
* Large ERP systems experience and Excel proficiency
