Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual internal reports sent to regional management to improve the quality of operational decision-making
- Perform analysis on financial and operational performance
- Prepare financial performance models for external stakeholders
- Support in the external financial forecasting and budgeting process
- Assist in the timely preparation of internal monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting
- Support the month end and year end close as needed
- Support all Finance teams in reporting system improvements and enhancements
- Takes initiative in driving meaningful ad-hoc analysis for the management team
- Train and mentor other staff on financial reporting standards and accounting best practices
- Provide ad-hoc operational support to various business functions such as finance, operations and controls
- Other projects as assigned (acquisitions, financing, etc.)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, three years in finance or accounting roles (MBA/CPA preferred).
- Advanced analytical skills
- An ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize workload
- Seeking to understand business drivers and new ideas.
- A work ethic based on a strong desire to exceed expectations
- Strong Attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to deliver on competing priorities
- Strong knowledge of accounting practices and regulations
- An ability to work independently and self-motivate in a fast-paced and rapidly-changing environment
- Strong interpersonal skills — including written and oral communication skills
