Responsibilities
Lead development for strategy, planning, and migration of the provincial eNG network including configuration of new data centre components, application migrations, and safe component decommissioning of vacated facilities
Lead for infrastructure migration and component refresh planning, data management, and implementation of cloud services
Technical prime with vendors, working with respective technical SMEs to architect and configure 3rd party applications
Framework design for IT systems supporting data centre operations, recommending the best technical solutions for network and data component migration, expansion, and optimization projects
Qualifications
Minimum of 15 years’ experience overseeing the development, strategy, and implementation of large enterprize infrastructure systems
Broad and extensive understanding/hands-on experience for the implementation and configuration of HPE, Aruba, Cisco, Arista, and Palo Alto network components
Familiarity with trends and the technical evolution of core network component/solutions within/supporting data centre architecture
Extensive digital health, cloud and infrastructure and technical knowledge and experience
Demonstrated capability working on complex IT programs with tight timelines
