Responsibilities
• Engage with Subject Matter Experts to understand and deliver on reporting and analytics requirements.
• Work closely with governance teams to define and confirm BI solution patterns.
• Modify existing data marts in SAP BusinessObjects and create new ETL scripts as needed.
• Develop data visualization dashboards using Power BI and other tools.
• Apply Kimball Dimensional Modelling principles to design and modify data structures.
• Document technical processes to ensure long-term supportability of solutions.
• Mentor junior team members and provide knowledge transfer to internal teams.
Qualifications
Mandatory Skills
1. Five (5) years' experience developing and delivering successful business intelligence and analytics solutions with one or more of the following technologies . . .
a. PowerCenter Informatica for creating or modifying exchange, transform, and load scripts
b. SAP BusinessObjects for creating and / or managing a data warehouse universe and creating or modifying reports
c. Data visualization experience with Microsoft Power BI software to create or modify dashboards
2. Five (5) years' experience in applying data modelling principles such as Kimball Dimensional Modelling
3. Five (5) years' experience in database technologies, database, and scripting such as Oracle or SQL Server
4. Two (2) years' experience mentoring other business intelligence and analytics developers
Desired Skills
1. SAP Ariba data knowledge
2. Data virtualization experience with the Denodo platform
3. Proven verbal and written communication skills demonstrating ability to work with various audiences
