Responsibilities
•Leading stakeholder engagement activities with clinical, non-clinical, and executive stakeholders through interviews, workshops, and surveys.
•Developing stakeholder materials such as agendas, presentations, meeting minutes, and surveys.
•Creating business and technical documentation, including business requirements, functional specifications, user stories, use cases, workflows, and process diagrams.
•Conducting current state, future state, and gap analysis to inform solution design.
•Preparing decision documents to support evidence-based decisions.
•Developing operational documentation such as standard operating procedures and operational frameworks.
•Creating end-user documentation including training guides, user manuals, and support tools.
•Supporting user acceptance testing by developing test documentation and assisting with validation activities.
•Ensuring alignment with data confidentiality and privacy standards, including New Brunswick’s PHIPAA.
•Potentially supporting additional digital health initiatives as needed by the organization.
Qualifications
Mandatory Requirements:
•A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field (or an equivalent combination of education and experience).
•At least 15 years of recent experience leading business analysis activities, including stakeholder engagement with clinical, non-clinical, and executive-level participants.
•A minimum of 10 years of recent experience in senior business analysis roles on large, complex, multi-year projects involving multiple business units and over 15 stakeholders.
•At least 10 years of experience in Information Management/Information Technology (IM/IT).
•Ability and willingness to travel within New Brunswick for face-to-face meetings as needed.
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Desirable Experience:
•5+ years of experience working as a senior business analyst in eHealth or a Canadian healthcare setting, covering both project and operational work.
•10+ years of experience producing detailed business and technical documentation, including gap analyses, requirements, and workflow diagrams.
•5+ years of experience in user acceptance testing (UAT) and validation support.
•5+ years of experience creating user manuals, training guides, and support tools.
•5+ years of experience documenting operational frameworks and procedures for transitioning from project to operations.
•Proficiency with methodologies and tools such as Waterfall, Agile, Kanban, Scrum, JIRA, Microsoft Visio, BPMN, etc.
•Familiarity with New Brunswick’s PHIPAA legislation on data confidentiality and client privacy.
•Ability to support engagement in both English and French is an asset.
