The Senior Business Analyst will also work closely with the Health Application Services Technical Strategists and support teams to identify, gather, document, and validate requirements related to the implementation of a CIS; to identify systems impacted; to document details of
current state and perform gap analysis; to develop functional design documents related to migration and data
archiving.
The Senior Business Analyst will also foster and maintain close working relationships with the various lines of business and technical support teams to ensure the business and information technology requirements align.
The chosen individual’s work will be comprised of a mixture of steady-state and project-based efforts.
Some after-hours and weekend work may be required for the successful candidate, however, any overtime or work during non-business hours must be approved in advance.

he successful candidate must deliver the following, in order to successfully complete the engagement:
Detailed review of existing business requirements and technical current state documentation.
Collaborate with technical experts to gather input and insights for the development and refinement of data requirements and standards.
Design and develop facilitation sessions to validate the existing requirements and collect net new business and information technology requirement, including gap analysis.
Create and maintain detailed process and solution documentation, including workflows, integration diagrams, user guides, and training materials, to ensure seamless adoption of new technology.
Conduct a comprehensive analysis of business and technical requirements to support the planning, management, and progression of the technical workstreams within the CIS project; recommend and implement solutions to achieve defined objectives, monitoring their effectiveness.
Collaborate closely with project teams to ensure the smooth delivery and implementation of the Clinical Information Solution, including effective communication plans for stakeholders. The individual will be required to sign a non-disclosure agreement prior to commencing the assignment.
Qualifications
Mandatory Requirements
A Bachelor’s level University degree in Computer Science, Business
Administration, Healthcare or a similar discipline. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
A minimum of 3 years of demonstrated experience as a Senior Business Analyst responsible for requirements gathering, workshop facilitation, use case analysis, business process analysis, detailed design activities, and developing business analysis documentation.
5 years of demonstrated financial system support experience with a focus on Canadian health information systems, standards, technology, and/or software.
3 years of demonstrated Meditech financial suite experience including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Payroll, Billing and Accounts Receivable, Materials management.
Other Requirements
A minimum of 3 years of demonstrated experience as a Senior Business Analyst responsible for requirements gathering, workshop facilitation, use case analysis, business process analysis, detailed design activities, and developing business analysis documentation.

Facilitation skills: demonstrated experience in leading workshops to identify and articulate business requirements, system requirements, and develop user stories or use cases.
Demonstrated experience leading and producing business analysis
documentation (E.g., business requirements, patient journeys, functional specifications, process diagrams, requirements traceability, SOPs, test plans and test cases).
Demonstrated 5 years of experience working with a high level of self-direction, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to confidently engage and collaborate with project team members, subject matter experts, and stakeholders at all levels.
3 years Kof nowledge of Microsoft Office 365 suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Outlook, Teams) in the work environment.
