Responsibilities
- Conduct a comprehensive marketplace and competitive assessment within key category segments.
- Develop strategic recommendations for Twinings’ market entry, focusing on size of prize, attractiveness, and right to win.
- Utilize syndicated data sources (Nielsen, IRI/Circana) and consumer research to uncover insights and business opportunities.
- Translate data into actionable insights and compelling business cases that inform innovation strategies.
- Create and present a final brand plan, including:
- Competitive landscape analysis
- Market size and growth potential
- Innovation concepts and packaging recommendations
- Strategic recommendations for product positioning and branding
- Work cross-functionally with marketing, sales, and leadership teams to align insights with business objectives.
- Ensure timely and efficient project management while maintaining high-quality deliverables.
Qualifications
Must-Have:
- 8-10+ years of experience in strategy & insights or innovation strategy within the CPG/FMCG industry.
- Proven ability to analyze market data (syndicated POS and panel data sources such as Nielsen, IRI, Numerator).
- Strong project management skills with experience leading complex strategic initiatives.
- Expertise in qualitative & quantitative research methodologies and market opportunity identification.
- Exceptional storytelling and presentation skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
- Strong business acumen and ability to translate insights into actionable business strategies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams).
