Responsibilities
*Data Pipeline Development & Management: Build and manage backend data pipelines using SSIS and SQL Server to support various data processing needs.
*Power BI Reporting: Lead the development of Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions for multiple countries, streamlining processes and eliminating manual reporting methods.
*Team Collaboration & Training: Support and train a team of 6 BI professionals in the use of Power BI, SQL, and data engineering best practices. Build rapport with internal stakeholders and develop their BI capabilities.
*Cross-functional Communication: Collaborate with stakeholders (Sales, Operations, Product Wonder) to gather and refine reporting requirements, recommend best practices, and ensure alignment with business goals.
*Cloud and ERP Migration: Support the transition from on-premise data to cloud solutions as part of the company’s ERP migration to Infor. Adjust reporting and data integration methods as necessary.
*AI Pilot Use Case: Assist in the AI pilot project by providing data insights and recommendations, supporting the data-driven approach for future implementations.
*Maintain Reporting Infrastructure: Ensure that all reporting structures are adaptable to changes, including tariff adjustments and other business changes.
Qualifications
Technical Skills:
*SQL Server: Expertise in SQL for querying and building backend data pipelines.
*SSIS: Experience in data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
*Power BI: Strong front-end Power BI skills for developing interactive dashboards and visualizations.
*Data Engineering: Knowledge of data pipeline design and architecture. Experience with cloud technologies is a plus.
Business Intelligence & Reporting:
*Proven experience in developing and refining reporting requirements for multiple stakeholders across global operations.
*Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
People Skills:
*Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and train junior staff members.
*Ability to build rapport with stakeholders and provide insightful recommendations.
Problem-Solving & Innovation:
*Ability to provide innovative BI solutions that meet business needs while considering long-term scalability.
*Refine and adapt reports and dashboards to accommodate dynamic changes in the business (e.g., tariff changes).
