Responsibilities
Build maintainable, high quality and effective automated tests for 1) Frontend end-to-end and 2)
Backend APIs ensuring comprehensive test coverage
Design and create test strategies for RESTful APIs and web applications that lead to seamless
implementation to the CI/CD pipeline (Continuous Testing)
Design, Implement and maintain robust test automation frameworks, tools, and services.
Responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting performance testing systems and strategies.
Collaborate and work closely with Cross functional teams including Engineering, Product and operations teams to analyze quality risk, resolve test coverage gaps and ensure the best product
quality.
Collaborate with onsite and overseas cross functional teams during project life cycle Coordination with Offshore team to deliver business goals
Retrospect production issues, identify gaps in testing across the entire test stack and make
systemic improvements to test process and strategy.
Help in building and driving a culture that enables quality in all software features across different
services.
Own the products/services assigned and represent QA on different platforms and in during
project meetings
Qualifications
Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science or equivalent
5+ years overall QA experience with at least 3+ years of server API
functional/performance automation engineering experience
Strong Coding Skills in Java/Groovy and/or Python
Excellent understanding of RESTful APIs and hands-on experience in developing automated tests using ReadyAPI, Postman etc.
Excellent understanding of Selenium-based automation and hands-on experience in developing automated tests
Experience with performance and capacity engineering is required
Experience in working with CI/CD processes & tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins)
Hands-on experience in development and maintenance of automation frameworks
Ability to perform migration testing of static data and transaction data between multi cloud systems
API development experience is a plus
Working knowledge of Amazon web services (Storage & compute) is a plus
Experience working with global teams in different geographical locations
