Responsibilities
• Create and execute detailed test scenarios, cases, scripts, and steps to validate system functionality.
• Plan and perform setup of required testing data for comprehensive coverage.
• Document testing outcomes and present summary reports to business stakeholders.
• Liaise with the Test Manager, IT teams, and business users to ensure thorough testing and quality assurance.
• Manage concurrent testing activities across multiple project streams
Qualifications
Mandatory Qualifications
• Minimum seven (5) years of experience in information technology
• Minimum five (3) years of experience in a senior CIS testing role of a complex software implementation.
• Experience with testing methodologies (Migration Testing, IST, Automated Testing, Mock Go-Live etc…)
• Experience developing and executing test plans and scripts
• Experience testing multiple streams concurrently
• Strong analytical skills with strong attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills amongst IT analysts and business user audiences
• Ability to concurrently manage multiple assignments and deliverables
• Experience with a utility business (i.e. power, water, wastewater, gas)
• Experience with testing SAP ISU software (i.e. CRM, DM/PM, MT, etc.)
Desired Qualifications
• Experience with / knowledge of Alberta Market Transactions (i.e.; SSC and TBF transactions)
• Experience with JIRA & Zephyr
• Experience with test estimation
