Responsibilities
Here are the responsibilities for this SAP Analyst Programmer at this well known non-profit Company in Ville Saint-Laurent;
- Perform impact analyses and effort assessments for requested changes or new functionalities;
- Design and document the architecture of programs and components to be developed in an SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA and SAP BTP environment;
- Write design files for developments to be carried out;
- Program functions, screens, reports and processes in compliance with the functional requirements and good programming practices in force within the development team;
- Plan, document and carry out unit tests and participate in integrated application testing;
- Advise and recommend to the Business and Functional Analyst the most appropriate solutions according to requirements, best practices, system status and relative maintainability of solutions;
- Evaluate and recommend program enhancements/re-engineering where appropriate; - Participate in test strategy and scenario planning;
- Provide technical support for software operations by analyzing problems, evaluating and recommending solutions, and programming the chosen solution;
- Monitor the evolution of programming trends and practices and share them with the team;
- Where necessary, collaborate with security analysts for SAP ECC, S/4HANA and SAP BTP environments;
- Analyze the evolution of solutions according to the objectives, context and business issues of internal partners;
- Where necessary, participate in ad hoc projects and/or change requests (needs analysis, functional analysis, technical specifications, configuration) up to production launch, including testing and post-implementation support;
- Evaluate the cost/benefit ratio of applicable solutions and recommend the optimal solution.
Qualifications
Here are the qualifications required for this SAP Analyst Programmer at this well known non-profit Company in Ville Saint-Laurent;
- College diploma (DEC) or university degree (Baccalauréat) in computer science or equivalent experience;
- 3 to 5 years' relevant programming experience in large-scale, complex SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA and SAP BTP environments;
- Solid knowledge of ABAP and Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP) development tools;
- Knowledge of SAP Business Application Studio (BAS);
- Practical experience in developing solutions in the SAP ECC (ABAP) environment; - Practical experience in developing solutions in the SAP S/4HANA, SAP BTP, Cloud Foundry environment;
- Practical experience in developing integration solutions (SAP BTP) in an SAP S/4HANA environment;
- Practical experience in developing visual interfaces with SAP Fiori; - Experience with the principles of the “Clean Core” approach;
- Practical experience in solution development with Vue.js/Node.js/JavaScript, Core Data Services (asset);
- Practical experience in REST/OData API development (an asset);
- Practical experience in integration development with SAP SuccessFactors (an asset).
- Knowledge of security analysis for SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA and SAP BTP environments (asset);
- Knowledge of Oracle databases (asset);
- Demonstrate strong technical, teamwork and mentoring skills; - Be autonomous, rigorous and have very good organizational skills;
- Sense of responsibility and planning;
- Ability to handle several files/mandates at the same time;
- Ability to identify business needs and be customer-oriented;
- Rigor, attention to detail, autonomy and versatility;
- Good organizational and planning skills;
- Good writing and communication skills;
