Location: Delta, BC
Pay Rate: $23-$25

Responsibilities
-Daily performance of sanitation duties include dismantling, cleaning and sanitizing processing equipment and other plant areas by ensuring that all is cleaned to meet Quality Control, food safety and CFIA guidelines to minimize potential food safety risks.
-Understanding the principles of the master cleaning schedule, dispensing of chemical cleaning solutions and ensure the proper completion of cleaning checklist as required.
-Follow all company policies, GMPs, Food Safety, OHSA Regulations, SOPs and SSOPs.
-Communicating effectively with other departments to work together to achieve organizational goals.
-Additional duties as required
Qualifications
Attention to detail to ensure thorough cleaning
Ability to work with chemicals, follow chemical usage labels for application and appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) is required.
Ability to perform some heavy lifting, climb stairs, navigate around manufacturing equipment and work within allotted shift schedule.
Ability to work with limited or no supervision.
Strong initiative to achieve results.
Forklift certificate preferred but not required
Ability to work in night shift starting time around 9:00 pm.
