Responsibilities
- Provide on-going support to CIHI Analytical users.
- Work with other CIHI analytical administrators to resolve any issue in the CIHI analytical environment.
- Work with the Analytics Techniques and Tools (ATT) team to resolve any issue on the CIHI R, Python and Spark environments, Stata and SPSS.
- Manage permissions on the different analytical environments (Windows, Linux).
- Monitor logs, create R and Python programs and scripts for automation.
- Work with CIHI SAE project and other projects as required.
- Participate in the implementation of different technologies to support the Analytical Environment.
Qualifications
- Strong experience with SAS, R, Python, Spark, and EMR (Hadoop) administration.
- Proficiency in Windows and Linux system administration.
- Hands-on experience with AWS-hosted analytical environments.
- Knowledge of automation scripting in R and Python.
- Familiarity with managing user permissions and security controls.
- Experience working in data science or analytics teams, providing technical support.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
