Responsibilities

- Analyze information relevant to business architecture and conduct focus group workshops with stakeholders.
- Model business processes and capabilities at the enterprise and core business levels, including capability models and architectural solutions.
- Provide project management for large-scale, complex, and high-profile IT initiatives, ensuring adherence to standard methodologies.
- Ensure project deliverables meet clients' business requirements, budget, and timelines while maintaining compliance with OPS project management frameworks.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and analyze business requirements, integrating IT-enabled opportunities to address business needs.
- Facilitate communication, negotiation, and consensus-building among diverse stakeholders.
- Proactively identify and mitigate potential risks and issues throughout project lifecycles.

Qualifications
Must Haves:
- Demonstrated experience in crafting enterprise architecture deliverables compliant with Ontario Government Enterprise Architecture processes and practices.
- Proficiency in frameworks such as the Zachman Framework, TOGAF (The Open Group Architecture Framework), or other relevant frameworks.
- Deep understanding of diverse business environments, with a focus on government settings, including familiarity with key business drivers in these contexts.
- Understanding of data modelling principles and techniques, including entity-relationship diagrams (ERDs) and data flow diagrams.
General Skills:
- Mastery of various methods, techniques, and tools for business architecture, including but not limited to business functional modelling, service lifecycle modelling, business event modelling, business process mapping, and value chain analysis.
- Deep understanding of diverse business environments, with a focus on government settings, including familiarity with key business drivers in these contexts.
- Proven ability to identify and analyze business requirements, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
- Knowledge and experience in leveraging information technology to integrate solutions and identify IT-enabled opportunities that address business pressures and needs effectively.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, negotiation, and consensus-building skills essential for effective stakeholder management and project execution.
- Demonstrated experience as a business architect, adept at modelling business structures at both enterprise and core business levels for medium to large organizations.
- Proficiency in the Zachman Framework, encompassing business, information, application, technology, and security architectures.
- Ability to advocate for and promote I&IT project management best practices, ensuring adherence to standard methodologies for successful project delivery.
