Responsibilities
•Develop and execute comprehensive QA test plans for data migration activities
•Design and implement test cases covering extraction, transformation, and loading processes
•Perform data validation, regression, and performance testing for migrated data
•Create detailed defect reports and documentation of test results
•Conduct QA for Power BI reports, including functionality, accessibility, and performance testing
•Validate data accuracy and report interactivity in Power BI
•Ensure compliance with security, AODA accessibility, and performance requirements
•Maintain thorough documentation of test plans, results, and QA procedures
•Support knowledge transfer activities through meetings, documentation, and DevOps tools
Qualifications
•7+ years of QA experience in data migration projects, especially involving Azure Cloud and Dynamics 365 CRM
•Strong SQL proficiency with experience in Azure SQL Databases and Dataverse
•Demonstrated experience in BI reporting QA, particularly with Power BI
•Familiarity with Azure storage concepts, Azure DevOps, and Synapse Analytics
•Knowledge of integration tools used with Dynamics (CDS, APIs, Data Entities)
•Understanding of AODA and accessibility standards in BI reporting
•Experience documenting and executing QA tasks using collaborative platforms like DevOps Wiki and boards
