Responsibilities
•Automate AWS resource provisioning using CloudFormation, Terraform, or AWS CDK.
•Optimize Amazon RDS for Oracle, Aurora, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and other AWS database solutions.
•Automate backup, restoration, and scaling of RDS instances and Aurora clusters.
•Ensure high availability, performance, security, and scalability of AWS production systems.
•Configure and manage AWS services, including VPC, Load Balancing, EC2, S3, Lambda, CloudTrail, CloudWatch, IAM, Redshift, Active MQ, and DMS.
•Implement database scaling solutions using RDS Read Replicas, Aurora Auto Scaling, and Global Databases.
•Monitor and analyze database performance using RDS Performance Insights, CloudWatch, and Enhanced Monitoring.
•Secure AWS resources with encryption, IAM policies, and compliance best practices.
•Build CI/CD pipelines for AWS-hosted applications using AWS CodePipeline, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD.
•Automate database schema updates and migrations as part of deployment processes.
•Implement logging, monitoring, and alerting using AWS tools.
•Work with developers, IT teams, and healthcare stakeholders to align AWS solutions with business needs.
•Provide detailed documentation for system design, integration, configuration, and implementation.
•Lead knowledge-sharing sessions to upskill team members and improve DevOps adoption.
Qualifications
Required Experience
•10+ years in IT with expertise in AWS cloud engineering, automation, and database management.
•Proven AWS expertise in EC2, RDS, S3, IAM, Lambda, CloudWatch, Redshift, and CloudTrail.
•Strong knowledge of DevOps tools such as Git, Ansible, Terraform, Kubernetes, and Jenkins.
•5+ years working with Linux OS (Red Hat, Solaris) including installation, troubleshooting, and automation.
•Hands-on experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash, JavaScript, Node.js).
•Experience in mobile device management for tablets and cellular devices.
Preferred Certifications
•AWS Certified DevOps Engineer
•AWS Certified Solutions Architect
