•Create and optimize checkpoint restartable IMS BMPs.
•Implement batch processing and XML-based transaction services.
•Debug and troubleshoot mainframe applications using IBM Debug Tool.
•Participate in integration testing, JAD sessions, and defect resolution.
•Support system performance tuning and modernization efforts.
•Ensure secure data transfer using SFTP scripting.
Qualifications
•10+ years of experience in mainframe-based programming and analysis.
•Recent experience with PL/I V4.5+ and Fujitsu NetCOBOL V4+.
•5+ years working with XML-based IMS transactions and mid-tier integrations.
•Expertise in IBM mainframe tools, including Endevor, File Manager, and Debug Tool.
•Proficiency in database management with IMS DB V12+ and DB2 for z/OS V11+.
•Experience with Visual Studio, Harvest Source Control, and Windows workstation tools.
•Familiarity with public sector policies related to transportation safety and vehicle registration is a plus.
