Responsibilities
1. Responsible for working with the technical team of Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), including solution vendors, to deliver new releases of the Document Verification Service (DVS), ensuring compliance with OPS software development life cycle (SDLC) and I&IT standards while maintaining high-quality outcomes.
2. Serve as the primary liaison between client institutions and technology teams, facilitating requirements gathering, prioritizing tasks, and addressing roadblocks to ensure smooth implementation.
3. Define onboarding processes and establish technical standards, guidelines, and best practices for developing, integrating, and maintaining the DVS solution with multiple client institutions.
4. Collaborate with client institutions to enable seamless integration of DVS into their applications, ensuring compliance with GO ICA IAL requirements for identity assurance and verification.
5. Provide expert recommendations and oversight for architecture, privacy, security, and AODA compliance, ensuring alignment with Government of Ontario policies and standards.
6. Lead and coordinate DVS system upgrades, patches, and performance improvements to maintain solution availability, scalability, and reliability.
7. Identify, document, and mitigate technical issues and risks during DVS implementation; escalate critical concerns to management as needed.
8. Drive the integration of DVS with various identity providers, supporting end-user scenarios for the Ontario Public Service (OPS) and Broader Public Service (BPS) sectors.
9. Lead and oversee enhancements of DVS integration with video verification systems, facilitating a transition from in-person to online validation processes for government services.
10. Provide input and quality assurance for technical artifacts, including architectural diagrams, design documents, and service integration plans, to support clear and effective delivery.
11. Champion continuous improvement by identifying and implementing opportunities to enhance the efficiency, effectiveness, and scalability of the DVS solution.
Qualifications
Must Haves:
- Advanced knowledge of IT security authentication and identity verification technologies and related IT components.
- Demonstrated experience with enterprise-level online identity verification services such as Interac, IDVerse, and Onfido SaaS solutions.
- Demonstrated experience with implementing and supporting Single Sign-On (SSO) solutions, identity federations, identity provisioning and multi-factor authentication systems by utilizing enterprise-grade identity management services such as Okta and Interac.
- Demonstrated experience with integrating large, enterprise, public-facing identity systems with cloud-based identity services such as Okta, Azure AD, B2C and Auth0.
