•API Testing Expertise – Work on cutting-edge API integration and web services testing in a high-impact modernization project.

Responsibilities
•Develop, execute, and maintain test scripts for SOAP/ReST-based APIs using ReadyAPI, SoapUI, and Postman.
•Conduct functional and non-functional testing in an n-tier Java EE environment.
•Validate schema, parameter passing, and data integration within API environments.
•Test IBM WebSphere applications, Oracle databases, and API Connect integration.
•Ensure system interoperability by executing connectivity, regression, and functional tests.
•Identify and document defects, ensuring all issues are logged and tracked for resolution.
•Work with development, business, and IT teams to define test plans and execution strategies.
•Provide subject matter expertise for API testing, configuration, and troubleshooting.
•Support partners and vendors in their integration and testing activities.


Qualifications
•5-10 years of hands-on experience in SOAP/ReST-based API testing.
•Expertise in third-party tools such as ReadyAPI, SoapUI, and Postman.
•Strong technical skills in IBM WebSphere, Oracle, SQL-based query languages, and IBM API Connect.
•Familiarity with test management tools like HP ALM, JIRA, and defect tracking systems.
•Ability to create, document, and execute test plans, test cases, and automated scripts.
•Proficiency in Groovy scripting and schema validation techniques.
•Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in fast-paced environments.
