Responsibilities
•Develop comprehensive test strategies, plans, scenarios, and scripts for diverse systems.
•Coordinate testing efforts in different methodologies (e.g., waterfall, agile) for large-scale and mission-critical applications.
•Configure systems to support testing activities, including environment setup for custom and COTS solutions.
•Collaborate with developers, integrators, and stakeholders to ensure proper configurations.
•Perform unit, functional, integration, performance, regression, and load testing to validate system reliability.
•Test both graphical and non-graphical user interfaces, mobile apps, and high-volume transactional systems.
•Utilize automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Eggplant) to streamline test execution.
•Log, track, and manage defects using version control and defect management systems (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).
•Liaise with project leads, developers, and end-users to ensure testing coverage and resolve issues.
•Provide clear, timely communication on test progress, issues, risks, and recommendations.
Qualifications
•Experience configuring systems, setting up testing environments, and delivering QA requirements in both waterfall and agile frameworks.
•Proven track record with custom development solutions, COTS software, and integrations.
•Familiarity with automated testing, mobile/desktop app testing, real-time data feeds, and high availability systems.
•Expertise in planning, organizing, and executing functional/non-functional testing, including stress/performance/load tests.
•Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills, coupled with effective communication.
•Experience with telephony/radio technologies, IP-based telephony, or computer-aided dispatch systems.
•Proficiency in additional testing tools or programming languages for automation.
