Responsibilities
•Install, configure, and maintain Oracle databases (19C, RAC, Data Guard, GoldenGate), ensuring optimal performance, backup/recovery, and security.
•Administer and support SAP Business Objects, Cognos BI, and Informatica platforms.
•Monitor and optimize BI/DW solutions; address performance issues in Oracle databases and related services.
•Provide root cause analysis and implement preventive measures for recurring problems.
•Develop and maintain data models, schemas, scripts, and build books for higher environment deployments.
•Produce technical documentation, ensuring compliance with standards and best practices.
•Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support system design, code releases, capacity planning, and data migration.
•Liaise with Oracle, Informatica, or Cognos support to resolve complex incidents and ensure system stability.
•Contribute to project plans for database-related activities, including setup, migration, and tuning.
•Follow established processes for incident, change, and configuration management, ensuring seamless integration with other systems.
Qualifications
•10+ years of database administration experience with Oracle products (Oracle 19C, RAC, RMAN, Data Guard, GoldenGate).
•Proven background in BI/DW solution design, using Informatica PowerCenter, Cognos, Business Objects, and Oracle DB in Unix/Linux environments.
•Expertise in diagnosing and resolving server/system issues related to Cognos, BO, Informatica, LDAP, and Oracle DBs.
•Strong knowledge of performance tuning, backup/recovery, partitioning, compression, and security.
•Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills for complex IT environments.
•Familiarity with large-scale health sector data management.
•Hands-on experience with additional Oracle or BI tools and frameworks.
