Responsibilities
•Develop and manage comprehensive security designs (hardware, software, database, and communications) for large, cross-platform environments.
•Provide consultation on secure-by-design models, ensuring alignment with best practices and stakeholder requirements.
•Create reusable patterns for IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, integrating advanced security tools (SIEM, SOAR, endpoint detection).
•Deploy encryption, PKI, and NAC solutions to protect data and applications in hybrid environments.
•Contribute to agile methods (scrum, sprints, backlog) for rapid solution iteration, coordinating security demands with development teams.
•Provide engineering support across conceptual, logical, and detailed design phases.
•Partner with clients and technical teams, defining architectures, identifying security requirements, and overseeing implementation.
•Oversee solution documentation, risk assessments, and compliance with recognized frameworks like TOGAF.
Qualifications
•Advanced knowledge in core security tech domains (identity/access, encryption, NAC, SIEM).
•Familiarity with multi-cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP) and agile delivery methods.
•Experience producing detailed architecture documents and frameworks (TOGAF, solution design).
•Demonstrated success in leading large, secure solution designs and ensuring best practices for on-prem and cloud applications.
•Past work on public sector security projects is a bonus.
•Strong communication and leadership abilities to drive secure deployments, from concept to production.
