•Administer Oracle Database Enterprise Edition, including installation, upgrades, and tuning.
•Manage Oracle RAC, Data Guard, DB Vault, and Oracle Enterprise Monitoring (OEM).
•Design, develop, and test backup and recovery plans, ensuring data recovery in case of failure.
•Conduct capacity planning, security audits, and performance optimization.
•Support application teams with scheduled data loads, restores, and maintenance activities.
•Design conceptual, logical, and physical data models using Power Designer.
•Develop architecture artifacts, data standards, and interface data requirement documents.
•Lead data modeling and data flow sessions, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture guidelines.
•Communicate with stakeholders to maintain database integrity and security.
•Ensure compliance with relevant directives, standards, and security practices..
Qualifications
•Demonstrated expertise in Oracle Database Enterprise Edition, RAC, Data Guard, and DB Vault.
•Proven experience with Linux OS, Oracle Enterprise Monitoring, and performance analysis.
•Strong background in database modeling, BI, data warehousing, and architecture development.
•Skilled in Power Designer and other data modeling tools.
•Experience with backup, recovery, security controls, and storage systems.
•Familiar with government IT directives, architecture governance processes, and compliance standards.
•Public sector experience is preferred but not mandatory.
