•Identify and address data cleanliness issues, develop extraction, cleansing, and load scripts.

•Gather and clarify requirements from business and IT stakeholders.
•Prepare technical documents, business cases, and process flows.
•Provide knowledge transfer sessions and maintain version-controlled documentation.
•Investigate and resolve BI-related production issues, deploying fixes as needed.
•Optimize data models, queries, and performance across different BI environments.
•Offer ongoing support for both scheduled and ad-hoc research/reporting needs.
•Contribute to agile or waterfall SDLC phases, including design, testing, and release management.
•Present findings and recommendations to various audiences, ensuring stakeholder alignment.
Qualifications
•Proven experience with Cognos 10 or higher and Microsoft Power BI for BI solutions.
•Familiarity with Oracle, SQL Server, and ETL processes (SSIS, Informatica) for data migration.
•Working knowledge of data warehousing principles, data mapping, and business process re-engineering.
•Strong MS Excel skills (Power Query, Pivot Tables) for advanced data analysis and reporting.
•Excellent communication and analytical skills to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
•Understanding of Oracle SQL and PL/SQL.
•Experience with BI tool migrations (e.g., moving from Cognos or Qlik to Power BI).
•Familiarity with agile or waterfall methodologies in project delivery.
