Responsibilities
Focusing on communication, employee engagement, training, and stakeholder alignment, the Change Management Specialist plays a crucial role in the successful adoption of the Transition Program, including the effective execution of change management strategy/plans to engage with cross-functional stakeholders to drive the adoption of new technologies, processes, and ways of working.
This position:
- involves building stakeholder buy-in and fostering a culture of change readiness throughout the organization, paving the way for a smooth transition during the change journey; and
- requires extensive real-world change management experience in large-scale change initiatives, excellent communication skills, and the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
Primary Responsibilities:
Change Strategy Development
- Design and execute comprehensive change management strategies to support the goals of the Transition Program.
- Conduct readiness assessments and change impact analyses to identify gaps and areas requiring focus and support.
- Develop and execute a detailed change management strategy aligned with project milestones tailored to the Transition Program.
- Create a structured change roadmap, integrating communication, training, and engagement plans.
Stakeholder Analysis and Engagement
- Identify and map key stakeholder groups to understand their needs, concerns, and levels of influence, ensuring their concerns are addressed and their input is incorporated into plans.
- Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders across all levels to ensure alignment and support for change initiatives.
Communication and Training
- Develop and execute communication and engagement strategies and tactics to ensure employees understand, accept, and adopt new technologies and processes.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders both at the program level and the project level to design and develop compelling, user-friendly materials (e.g., FAQs and infographics) that articulate the Program’s mission, benefits, and progress.
- Tailor messages for diverse audiences to ensure clarity and relevance.
- Monitor and address feedback to improve communication effectiveness.
- Serve as a point of contact for stakeholders to raise concerns and seek guidance during the transition.
- Partner with key stakeholder groups to co-create training and knowledge transfer materials to equip impacted employee groups with the information and skills needed to succeed in the post-transition world.
- Organize and facilitate workshops, training sessions, and focus groups to ensure clear understanding and adoption of changes.
Metrics and Reporting
- Establish and track metrics to measure the success of change management initiatives, such as adoption rates, training completion, and employee satisfaction.
- Provide regular updates and recommendations to leadership on progress and areas for improvement.
Collaboration with Project Teams
- Work closely with project managers, organizational leaders, and vendors to align change management efforts with overall program goals.
- Develop a roadmap for change activities aligned with project milestones, ensuring change initiatives are delivered on time and align with broader program deliverables.
Qualifications
Must Haves:
- 8+ years’ experience in change management, preferably in large-scale digital transformation programs.
- Strong understanding of digital technologies and their impact on business operations and culture.
- 8+ years’ experience working on projects related to digital transformation change management.
General Skills:
- Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills, with the ability to simplify complex information.
- Proficiency in change management frameworks and methodologies.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to assess change impact, interpret data, and refine strategies accordingly.
