Responsibilities
RPA Development & Automation Engineering
Design, develop, and implement scalable and efficient RPA solutions using UiPath.
Develop complex process automation workflows and reusable components to ensure modularity and maintainability.
Work with UiPath Orchestrator, Action Center, and Apps to create enterprise-wide automation solutions.
Adhere to coding best practices and actively contribute to improving development standards.
Process Documentation & Compliance
Create and maintain Solution Design Documents (SDDs).
Ensure proper logging, exception handling, and auditability of bots in production.
Implement security controls when working with PII data, data encryption, and access management.
API & Enterprise System Integrations
Integrate RPA solutions with MS Azure, ServiceNow, Salesforce, ERPs, and POS systems.
Utilize UiPath Integration Services and develop custom connectors for RESTful and SOAP APIs.
Ensure secure API interactions using OAuth 2.0 authentication and token management.
Cloud Infrastructure & DevOps (Azure/AWS)
Deploy and manage RPA solutions on Azure/AWS, leveraging services like Azure Functions, Logic Apps, AWS Lambda, and Event Bridge.
Utilize Azure Key Vault / AWS Secrets Manager for secure credential management.
Implement CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, Jenkins, Azure DevOps) to streamline deployment processes.
Data Management & Custom Development
Work with SQL & NoSQL databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, DynamoDB, CosmosDB) to store and manage process-related data.
Develop C#/VB.NET/Python-based custom activities to extend UiPath functionality.
Handle data transformation, JSON/XML processing, and Regex-based text parsing.
Implement agentic process automation to leverage AI-driven decision-making in RPA workflows.
Cross-Team Collaboration & Mentorship
Collaborate with business analysts, solution architects, and IT teams to ensure automation solutions align with business objectives.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
Conduct code reviews, knowledge-sharing sessions, and best practice workshops.
Qualifications
5-7 years of experience in API and GUI automation.
Strong hands-on experience with UiPath (minimum 3 years in complex RPA automation).
Expertise in designing and integrating RPA solutions with enterprise systems like Azure, ServiceNow, Salesforce, POS, Oracle, and payment gateways.
Solid SQL, C#, VB.Net, and web services experience for custom automation development.
Proficiency in working with OAuth 2.0 authentication and API security best practices.
Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, Jenkins, Azure DevOps) for automated bot deployments.
Experience working with PII data, encryption, and security best practices.
Ability to write and maintain PDDs and SDDs to document automation processes.
UiPath Advanced RPA Developer Certification (UiARD) is a MUST.
Nice-to-Have:
Experience with Generative AI to enhance automation capabilities and improve bot development speed.
Knowledge of MS Power Automate, Power Apps, and how they complement UiPath automation.
Understanding of agentic process automation, where AI agents handle complex data and automate tasks beyond traditional RPA capabilities.
Prior experience in the retail industry is a plus.
Proficiency in testing, debugging, and optimizing RPA workflows to minimize downtime.
