Responsibilities
Assignment Duties:
- Customize and configure ServiceNow modules such as Release Management, Change Management, Service Catalog, and other ITSM
modules as per business requirements.
- Designs, develops and implements custom workflows for task routing, approvals, and escalations within ServiceNow to optimize service management processes.
- Develop and maintain integrations between ServiceNow and third-party tools, ensuring seamless data flow between ServiceNow.
- Designs and develops comprehensive reports, dashboards, and analytics within the ServiceNow platform to provide insights into key ITSM metrics and performance indicators.
- Assess the cleanliness, accuracy, and completeness of data within the ServiceNow platform, identifying and addressing data quality issues as needed.
- Develop and implement data cleansing and standardization processes to ensure consistent and reliable data across the ServiceNow platform.
- Support the establishment of data governance policies, standards, and procedures to maintain the integrity and security of data within the ServiceNow platform.
Deliverables:
1. Tailor modules to meet specific business requirements, enhancing functionality and process efficiency.
2. Design and implement automated workflows, streamlining processes like approvals, task routing, and notifications.
3. Develop custom scripts such as Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, and UI Actions to automate and optimize tasks within the platform.
4. Integrate ServiceNow with third-party systems to ensure seamless data exchange.
5. Designs and develops comprehensive reports, dashboards, and analytics within the ServiceNow platform to provide insights into key ITSM metrics and performance indicators.
6. Execute various types of technical tests (unit, functional, integration, system, regression, performance, and user acceptance testing).
7. Track problems, defects, and issues within a large project.
8. Support data migration initiatives, validating and transforming data as needed.
Qualifications
Must Haves:
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD).
- 5+ years of experience in customizing and configuring module, data analysis, reporting, and visualization.
Desired Skills:
- Knowledge of ServiceNow ITIL processes, particularly in Release Management, Change Management, and Incident Management.
- Proficient in customizing and configuring core modules (e.g. Release Management, Change Management etc.) and integrating ServiceNow with
other enterprise systems.
- Experience in the development of ServiceNow workflows and forms of various complexity (ranging from simple to complex) as required.
- Proficient in ServiceNow reporting and creating custom dashboards, performance analytics, and reports.
- Strong understanding of data governance principles and best practices.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and technologies, such as SQL, MicroStrategy, Power BI, Tableau, or similar.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
