Responsibilities
Daily monitoring of client portfolios, issuing and receiving collateral calls to ensure credit risk is mitigated.
-Accurate entry of margin tickets into the collateral system.
-Extensive interaction with clients to resolve issues and escalate collateral disputes when necessary.
-Conducting process reviews in accordance with Global Short-term Markets Policy.
-Reconciliation of repo collateral statements upon margining disputes.
-Ongoing risk management by staying informed of capital market risks and assessing their impacts.
-Seeking opportunities to enhance operational efficiency and reduce operational risks through process reengineering.
-Performing control functions to ensure process integrity.
-Fostering a work environment that promotes respect and adheres to the organization's policies and guidelines.
Qualifications
Must Have:
-At least 5 years of experience in capital markets or relevant collateral management experience.
-Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
-Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
-Self-starter with high initiative, adaptability, and the ability to learn quickly.
Nice to Have:
-CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) or FRM (Financial Risk Manager) certification.
-An undergraduate or graduate degree in Business, Economics, Mathematics, Finance, or another quantitative discipline.
