Responsibilities
In this Residential Property Accountant role , you will be responsible for the following:
Accounts Payable & Receivable: Process vendor invoices, ensure timely payments, track tenant billings, and follow up on outstanding receivables.
Bank & Account Reconciliations: Perform monthly reconciliations for bank accounts, credit cards, and general ledger accounts.
Journal Entries & Adjustments: Record accruals, amortizations, depreciation, and other adjusting journal entries.
TMI Reconciliation: Review lease agreements, track tenant charges, and reconcile Maintenance, and Insurance (TMI) expenses using Yardi.
Month-End & Year-End Close: Support the closing process by ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately and timely.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of residential property accounting is required.
- Experience working with Yardi Voyager is a requirement.
- Ability to work onsite 3 times per week
