Responsibilities
• Manage Daily Operations: Oversee all day-to-day activities of the Registries agency and agents, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
• Strategic Planning: Contribute to the development and execution of Registries’ strategic plans, aligning departmental goals with the broader business objectives.
• Financial Oversight: Provide insights and guidance on Registries' budgets and financial forecasting processes.
• Marketing Development: Assist in creating and implementing the marketing plan for Registry Services to enhance visibility and engagement.
• Reporting Oversight: Supervise the timely and accurate completion of Registries-related reports.
• Modernization & Efficiency: Support initiatives aimed at modernizing, automating, and improving operational efficiency, actively seeking feedback for ongoing enhancements.
• Stakeholder Relations: Foster and maintain effective relationships with key external stakeholders, including the Government of Alberta (GOA) and AARA.
• Program Optimization: Define and drive the vision for renewal programs, ensuring successful execution through collaboration with business partners.
• Customer Service: Assess customer needs and process over 160 different products using various databases on behalf of Service Alberta.
• Policy Adherence: Uphold a high standard of integrity, ensuring all agents comply with policies and procedures set by Service Alberta.
• Service Oversight: Oversee the processing of services related to Motor Vehicles, Corporate Registries, Vital Statistics, Personal Property, and Land Titles. AHCIP designation is an asset.
Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a managerial or leadership role with a proven track record of managing teams, projects, or departments.
• Education: Degree in Business Administration or Management is preferred.
• Expertise: In-depth knowledge of Alberta Registry Services.
• Certifications: Basic General Registries Certificate, along with CORES, ProRate, Fleet, and AHS certifications/experience.
• Customer-Focused: Strong dedication to delivering exceptional customer service.
• Multi-Tasking: Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple priorities.
• Skills: Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Background Checks: Ability to pass a criminal background check and credit check.
