Registered Pharmacy Technician - Mississauga - Healthcare
FT, permanent career opportunity: 40-hours/week schedule (37.5 paid hours per week) + potential for voluntary overtime paid in accordance with Employment Standards Act.
8-hour shifts run Monday-to-Friday from as early as 9:00am to as late as 6:00pm with potential for voluntary overtime. There is no on-call required.
This is a direct-hire position, meaning that a successful will be on the client's payroll from day one.

Responsibilities
Registered Pharmacy Technician - Mississauga - Healthcare
- Collaborate with the pharmacy team to ensure timely processing and verification of prescriptions for long term care and central fill patients
- Complete verification of dispensed medications (vial, unit dose and multi-dose strip packaged medications / on-screen verification)
- Managing prescription-related documentation (original scripts, delivery notes, any other info needed to accompany the items) and system info to ensure accuracy of dispensed medications and medication delivery
- Maintain effective communication with internal teams (pharmacy team, leadership team) and external clients when necessary (patients, pharmacies)
- Complete ongoing training to maintain up-to-date knowledge about technology utilized by the pharmacy
- Leverage strong communication skills (phone, email, text, Teams and more) to complete your work
- Attend meetings (in person or via Teams) and participate with a positive attitude, a can-do mindset and a commitment to service excellence
Qualifications

- Registered with the OCP as a Registered Pharmacy Technician (RPhT) in good standing (or open to transfer license from another province if you are looking to relocate)
