Responsibilities
- Handle and manage residential and/or commercial real estate transactions from open to close
- Conduct due diligence including title searches, zoning, property tax inquiries, and corporate searches
- Draft and file Land Title documents (Transfers, Charges, Discharges, etc.) using LTSA
- Prepare closing documentation including statements of adjustments, trust letters, and undertakings
- Coordinate and communicate with clients, lawyers, lenders, and realtors to ensure smooth and timely closings
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience as a Real Estate Paralegal in British Columbia
- Paralegal diploma or equivalent education from an accredited institution
- Strong working knowledge of BC Land Title system, LTSA, BC Online, and eConveyance/Unity
- High level of accuracy, organization, and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
