Responsibilities
-Supervise QC technicians and processing line QA checks.
-Manage and continuously develop our quality management programs such as HACCP, food safety and site standards including sanitation, pest control and environmental monitoring.
-Coordinate and manage third party lab testing, results, reporting and product hold/release.
-Lead and maintain employee training as it relates to food safety and quality.
-Actively participate and lead facility certification audits including GFSI, Organic, Kosher, Allergen and Non-GMO.
-Ensure products are produced in accordance with customer specifications and quality.
Qualifications
-A university degree in food science or related science field.
-Experience in leadership and the communication skills required to effectively manage a diverse team.
-Excellent working knowledge of HACCP and GFSI Food Safety Standards.
-Experience with BRC & AIB audits.
-Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and metrics.
