This role will be an primarily working in a lab with hands on measuring, testing, assessing, calculating and creating specific formulas for the manufacturing of slabs, tiles and related products.
This position requires high attention to detail, critical thinking and strong numerical capabilities as you will be making formulas in kgs to lbs, weighting, cutting and other tasks involving numbers.
You also need to be someone who takes initiative and is not always waiting to receive the next task.

You must be elegible to work full time with no restrictions in order to be considered for the position as this is a long term position.
Pay rate: $22/hr. (possible wage increase after probation)
Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM Monday to Friday
Location: Woodbridge (Hwy 427 and Hwy 7)

Responsibilities
• Work in production /lab area operating different tools for mixtures, messurements, cuttings, etc...
• Adding and mixing various liquid ingredients as per written instructions and exact messurements (sheet and guidelines provided)
• Take, prepare and ship orders from clients
• Maintain organized station for a safe environment
• Follow ISO procedures
• Complete Inventory if needed
• Pick and package items by hand
• Any other task required
Qualifications
* You have 2-3 years if educational and work experience related to quality and/or lab
* Experience using hand tools for cutting, measuring, and assembling
* Good mathematical skills, you will be working with numbers all day, so it is a MUST
* Ability to read and follow written instructions and guidelines accurately.
* Eligibility to work full time in Canada with no restrictions long term, as the position will hire permanently
* Previous production and manufacturing experience is considered an asset
* Basic computer skills
