Responsibilities
• As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will be responsible for overall Manufacturing Quality Assurance Systems (Incoming Quality, Process Quality, Final Inspection, complete life cycle of manufacturing including product & process validations.
• Perform the complete cycle of the auditing process – plan an audit, conduct an audit, report/communicate findings, and issue corrective actions when necessary. Audit types include internal processes (manufacturing, regulatory, internal policies) as well as external/supplier (QMS, design, fabrication, assembly, testing, inspection).
• Ensure product conformity to drawing requirements based on a quality plan – develop inspection and test standards, establish control points, oversee the inspection process, address non-conformities through resolution plans.
• Lead MRB meetings and provide recommendation.
• Manufacturing Quality Audit systems.
• Validation & Verification of Processes / Process Qualification techniques.
• Deployment of factory metrics for continuous improvements.
• Identify opportunities for improvement – analyze data for recurring issues and identify top offenders using quality tools (fishbone/pareto/control charts); facilitate quality improvement sessions.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have bilingual capabilities. Otherwise, a minimum requirement is fluency in French.
• DEC. in mechanics or electrical (or technical training with equivalent experience);
• 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience in internal and external (supplier) audit required
• Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 and its quality management principles.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes related to mechanical or electrical products (welding, plating, painting, machining, sheet metal work, mechanical/electrical assembly, PCB assembly, cable assembly)
• Bilingual (French and English)
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
Summary
