Responsibilities
Job Summary:
• Responsible for various quality control tasks including inspections at different stages of the production process including: receiving, in-process, and pre-shipment.
• Coordinate with the customer’s QA team, creating and completing quality documents such as Non-Conformance Reports, 8D Reports, and other related forms and procedures.
• Your responsibilities also include completing PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) and FAI (First Article Inspection) reports, as well as maintaining and using gauges as needed.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
• A Post-Secondary Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Technology or a similar qualification, or equivalent hands-on inspection experience is required.
• At least 3 years of experience in a machine shop environment.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints and interpreting engineering drawings.
• Familiarity with company procedure manuals, and QMS documents.
• Skilled in using measuring tools such as micrometers, vernier calipers, height gauges, and bore gauges.
• Experience with the AS9100 Quality System is preferred.
