Responsibilities
Functional Testing & Issue Resolution
Test web pages to ensure all links, forms, and interactive elements work correctly.
Identify, document, and prioritize bugs or inconsistencies for resolution.
Work with designers and developers to troubleshoot layout, responsiveness, and basic front-end issues.
Design & UX Review
Evaluate visual elements such as layout, typography, and color schemes for consistency and branding alignment.
Ensure responsive design compatibility across multiple devices and browsers.
Provide feedback on UX enhancements to improve usability and engagement.
Platform-Specific Testing (Kentico & WordPress)
Conduct thorough testing for websites built on Kentico and WordPress, ensuring functionality and adherence to platform guidelines.
Utilize CMS knowledge to identify efficiencies and recommend improvements.
Task Delegation & Management
Assign QA-related tasks to appropriate team members as needed.
Track testing progress and follow up to ensure timely issue resolution.
Prioritize testing efforts based on project timelines and business needs.
Documentation & Reporting
Maintain detailed test cases, issue logs, and reports for transparency.
Communicate findings and recommendations to design, development, and project management teams.
Contribute to QA best practices to improve efficiency and workflow.
Qualifications
Required:
Experience in QA testing for web design projects, particularly on Kentico and WordPress.
Strong understanding of front-end design principles, responsive design, and web development workflows.
Exceptional attention to detail and a keen eye for design aesthetics and user experience.
Familiarity with testing tools, bug tracking systems, and structured documentation processes.
Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to delegate tasks effectively.
Preferred:
Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for front-end validation and troubleshooting.
Experience with automated testing tools or browser testing platforms (e.g., BrowserStack, Selenium).
Understanding of WCAG accessibility standards for inclusive web design.
Experience with CMS workflows in Kentico and WordPress.
Familiarity with agile development methodologies and project management tools.
