Responsibilities
Responsibilities for the Purchasing and Inside Sales Coordinator include;
• Source and purchase materials needed for operations.
• Keep inventory levels in check by using demand forecasting and company targets.
• Build strong relationships with suppliers while negotiating pricing, terms, and delivery schedules.
• Monitor supplier performance and troubleshoot any issues related to quality or delivery delays.
• Process purchase orders, track shipments, and coordinate with warehouse/receiving teams.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and related data.
• Manage inventory transfers between branch locations.
Qualifications
• 2+ years of experience in purchasing, inside sales, or a similar role.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with inventory systems is an asset.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Knowledge of industry-specific products or services is an asset but not required.
