Responsibilities
-Work closely with other project team members, including, ownership, executives, directors, financial leaders, and operational managers to ensure the company's submissions align with the bid strategy/plan, as well as the technical leads/operational environment.
-Gather, research, and assemble all required documentation and information from relevant parties/sources, for the development of proposals.
-Analyze and review bid requests with a high attention to detail, ensuring responses are fully compliant with listed requirements.
-Responsible for the complete bid preparation process, ensuring the timely and accurate completion of all proposal submissions.
-Review and interpret Requests for Proposal (RFP), Requests for Information/Qualification (RFI/RFQ), and tender and prequalification packages for new and existing business opportunities.
-Project manage, write, and prepare the company's responses to bid opportunities issued by industrial, commercial, and institutional (ICI) customers, as well as municipal/governmental buyers and producer responsibility organizations.
Qualifications
-Completion of post-secondary education, ideally in a field with strong writing and research components (e.g., English, Communications, or Business/Commerce).
-Minimum of five years of experience in creating high-quality documentation, particularly for procurement opportunities.
-Experience leading a small team.
-Excellent copywriting, technical, and business writing skills, with an average typing speed of 50-80 wpm.
-Strong time management skills, able to excel in handling multiple projects with strict deadlines.
-High attention to detail in a fast-paced environment that requires multitasking and a positive attitude.
-Strong communication and interpersonal skills, effective at collaborating with stakeholders across all levels.
-Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to seek out information.
