Responsibilities
- Complete management of the accounting cycle for various companies (operational real estate portfolio and corporate businesses);
- Preparation and analysis of financial statements (balance sheet and income statement);
- Budget variance analysis;
- Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts;
- Recording of accounting entries;
- Bank reconciliations;
- Invoice validation;
- Rigorous monitoring of schedules defined in our management contracts to ensure that obligations are met;
- Cash flow management to determine partner contributions and distributions;
- Preparation and quality assurance of analyses, performance indicators, and monthly and quarterly reports;
- Ensure compliance with internal policies;
- Preparation and analysis of payroll for the real estate portfolio;
- Participation in the budget process;
- Contribution to year-end processes and coordination with auditors;
- Participation in the implementation of new modules in our ERP;
- Maintain good relations with partners and operational teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or CPA designation (an asset)
- 3 to 5 years' experience in accounting
- Knowledge of Yardi Voyager (an asset)
- Excellent Excel skills
- Strong ability to adapt in a growing and dynamic environment
- Excellent ability to manage priorities
- Ability to meet tight deadlines
