Responsibilities
- Oversee the full accounting cycle, including maintaining books, reconciling bank accounts and general ledgers, and managing GST remittances.
- Handle rent invoicing, cash applications, supplier payments, and ensure timely financial statement preparation, compliance, and audit readiness.
- Monitor lease agreements, including renewals and terminations, while managing budgets, tracking expenses, and analyzing variances.
- Forecast and manage cash flow, calculate tax reserves, file returns, and ensure accurate compliance with tax regulations.
- Review financial performance, generate monthly KPI reports, and provide actionable insights to support decision-making.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in Accounting
- Yardi/Hopem experience considered an Asset
- Bilingual in French and English
