Responsibilities
- Prepare and reconcile monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for assigned properties, including general ledger and bank reconciliations.
- Manage billing, collections, and tracking of property-related income, including rents and service charges.
- Assist in preparing property budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis, ensuring accuracy and timely updates.
- Support property audits, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and internal controls.
- Process journal entries, month-end/year-end close activities, and property tax filings.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience (2-3 years) in property accounting or real estate finance.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and reconciliation processes.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Yardi, MRI, SAP, or similar property management software).
