Scope of the Role:
As a SharePoint Migration Project Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing and delivering the SharePoint migration projects within the organization. Reporting directly to senior leaders, you will be responsible for understanding the complexities involved in migrating to SharePoint Online and ensuring seamless integration with the M365 suite. Your role will involve managing multiple projects, coordinating with stakeholders, and resolving conflicts while maintaining project momentum.
This role requires a strong background in Enterprise Content Management (ECM) systems, as well as expertise in managing large-scale migration projects. You will collaborate with business and IT teams, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and delivering high-quality results.

Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning & Management: Develop and manage project charters, business plans, and project schedules to ensure timely delivery and meet business objectives.
Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with project sponsors, senior leadership, vendors, and other departments to maintain effective communication and resolve conflicts.
Business & IT Collaboration: Coordinate with business and IT leadership to define project objectives, scope, resources, risks, and benefits, ensuring alignment with their goals.
Enterprise Architecture: Design and implement IT solutions that are compliant with the client’s enterprise architecture.
Documentation & Reporting: Prepare detailed project documentation, including business requirements, deliverables, progress reports, and risk assessments for upper management and stakeholders.
Risk & Issue Management: Monitor project status, identify risks, and take corrective actions to ensure projects stay on track.
Governance & Compliance: Oversee the implementation of project governance frameworks and compliance with internal and external policies.
Change Management: Provide leadership and assistance to business and project teams for change management and communication support.
Client Satisfaction: Ensure ongoing client satisfaction by managing relationships and addressing issues promptly to ensure a successful project outcome.
Continuous Improvement: Evaluate project outcomes and suggest improvements for future migrations and related projects.
Qualifications
MANDATORY:
Experience: Proven track record of leading and managing large-scale SharePoint migrations, particularly from SharePoint 2016 to SharePoint Online.
Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of Enterprise Content Management
