Responsibilities
Safety Leadership:
-Promote a culture of safety and ensure compliance with safety policies and industry standards.
-Conduct safety inspections and develop Construction Management Plans with site safety logistics.
Project Execution:
-Lead teams, ensuring clarity of roles and smooth project execution.
-Attend startup/handoff meetings to align on project goals and execution.
-Review progress with the Site Supervisor and Project Coordinator to address potential issues.
-Client & Stakeholder Relationships:
-Build and maintain relationships with clients, providing updates on budget and timelines.
-Ensure quality builds by maintaining relationships with consultants, sub-trades, and suppliers.
Project Management & Oversight:
-Manage realistic project schedules and ensure quality standards.
-Develop and execute detailed construction schedules and ensure compliance with regulations.
-Ensure project documentation is delivered on time and prepare monthly internal reports.
Financial Management:
-Develop and manage budgets, ensuring communication of any changes.
-Assist in creating competitive project budgets and conduct thorough budget reviews.
-Submit timely invoices and manage client payments.
Risk & Compliance Management:
-Identify and mitigate risks related to safety, finances, and legal issues.
-Oversee project closeout, obtaining occupancy permits and securing client sign-off.
-Manage warranty responsibilities and HR functions for assigned projects.
-Continuous Improvement & Team Development
-Encourage team participation in training initiatives.
-Stay updated on industry trends and propose improvements to strategies.
-Represent at events and support business development efforts.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Experience: Proven experience in Construction Project Management.
Knowledge: Familiarity with construction processes, materials, regulatory requirements, and project management software (e.g., MS Project, Procore, MS Office).
