Responsibilities
•Manages and implements projects through all phases of the project management life cycle within the defined measures of success and the accepted standards and deliverables.
•Supports initiation and business case development, determines project scope, defines deliverables, and develops project charters to align with the direction of the program.
•Supervises project staff including assignment of work and supports functional supervisors by providing feedback on performance and development activities as assigned.
-Consults with working group members to manage competing inputs and resource requirements, escalating issues to senior management where necessary.
-Respects competing pressures and develops strategies to maximize efficiency of project teams.
•Provides analysis and leadership for business process re-engineering. Coordinates the re-design by seeking input and expertise from staff, assessing current business practices, researching best practices, analyzing business options, identifying risks and risk mitigation approaches, recommending priorities, and resourcing requirements, and providing cost-benefit considerations for business solutions.
•Directs the review and evaluation of end-to-end business processes and systems with various departments to assess business problems, articulate business requirements and identify areas of improvement as part of the portfolio of projects.
•Directs the validation, and reporting of impacts of system, functional or process change recommendations
•Develops and maintains a broad range of stakeholder relationships to achieve project objectives including leading consultation and engagement sessions.
•Plans and conducts project evaluations and post-implementation reviews, and documents findings
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of project management experience with;
-experience leading an enterprise-wide initiative(s) in a large complex environment,
-full cycle project management experience including ideation, business case development, implementation, monitoring, project close-out and post project evaluation,
-experience in the use of business process systems, business reporting design and development, data management, and new systems implementation,
-project management methodologies, including waterfall and agile project management.
•Knowledge and experience with modern data governance, data stewardship, data quality management practices.
•Demonstrated presentation, negotiation, Influencing, and relationship building skills.
•Good judgment and the capacity to independently evaluate situations and identify the optimum course of action.
•Results-oriented with strong people and time management skills, highly organized, motivated, and driven to succeed.
