Responsibilities
Here are the tasks for the position of project manager - coordinator in Montreal
- Monitor equipment installation files for industrial customers
- Coordinate teams of technicians/subcontractors in conjunction with the operations team to carry out the work while respecting deadlines
- Responsible for communicating with customers and planning the installation schedule
- Verification of goods receipts following the conformity of the equipment received and communicating any problems with the manufacturer
- Responsible for submitting purchase orders to subcontractors and ordering with the administration department the necessary equipment for the installations
- Responsible for maintaining relationships with contractors; negotiate contracts, plan work, project management, check architectural plans, etc.
- Check work sheets to give them to technicians and subcontractors to ensure the quality and efficiency of operations.
- Establish and enforce performance policies and installation standards.
- Participate in the training of technicians and those in charge of health and safety management on installation sites in Quebec.
Qualifications
The qualifications required for the position of project manager - coordinator in Montreal are as follows:
- 3 to 7 years of construction experience
- Experience in personnel management
- Ability to read, interpret and write reports. safety regulations, operating instructions
- Knowledge of mechanics, hydraulics, electricity.
- Good communication and customer service.
- Available to work on the road, in person in Montreal and for training outside the country.
- Spoken and written bilingualism (French/English) to communicate with customers and members of the company outside Quebec.
