Responsibilities
What to Expect in This Project Manager Role in Montréal:
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with all departments involved in project execution.
Bid Management & Contracts: Actively contribute to strategy development, proposal preparation, bid management, contract negotiation, and drafting, as well as organizing supplier meetings.
Team Coordination: Ensure smooth workflow management in collaboration with the superintendent and support staff.
Priority Management: Define project objectives while ensuring compliance with budgets, schedules, and design plans.
Administrative & Financial Oversight: Review and approve purchase orders and change orders, participate in invoice coding, and ensure accurate financial management.
Analysis & Reporting: Assess forecasts, schedules, cost estimates, and financial reports while maintaining clear communication with the owner regarding any deviations.
Project Closure: Oversee the final project report and ensure the efficient closing of subcontractor agreements.
Qualifications
Desired Profile for the Project Manager Position in Construction – Montréal:
Experience: 5 to 10 years in project management with a general contractor or in a similar role within the construction industry. Membership in the OIQ is an asset.
Priority Management: Ability to efficiently organize work, handle pressure, and meet tight deadlines.
Attention to Detail & Excellence: Strong focus on quality, keen attention to detail, and a commitment to client satisfaction.
