Responsibilities
Your Responsibilities as a Project Manager Assistant in Ste-Catherine:
Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external communications.
Manage and continuously update the agenda by coordinating meetings and conference calls.
Organize and manage project documents (plans, contracts, specifications, permits).
Handle email correspondence.
Make travel arrangements for the team.
Write project updates for the company intranet – Communications.
Handle requisitions, orders, and negotiations with certain suppliers.
Monitor and process invoices, create purchase orders, and track payments and expenses.
Record project purchase orders in SAP.
Welcome and interact with visitors (contractors), representing the team professionally in all exchanges and interactions.
Provide administrative support to various departments in the plant as needed.
Qualifications
Required Skills and Qualifications for the Temporary Project Manager Assistant Role in Ste-Catherine:
DEC in Office Administration (or related field) with 3 to 5 years of relevant experience.
Bilingual in French and English, spoken and written; project involves an international team, with English used for 100% of project communications.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organizational skills, initiative, and sound judgment.
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and work in a team setting.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
Knowledge of SAP.
Professionalism, great attention to detail, and ability to manage various priorities and deadlines.
Capacity to work in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment.
Experience in a project management environment is an asset.
