Responsibilities
•Manage and support several IM/IT infrastructure construction Project Managers, each responsible for an element of the project and its associated project team;
•Define and document IM/IT infrastructure construction project requirements, objectives, determine budget requirements, and prepare TB submissions;
•Meet with other executives and project managers to ensure all organizational (internal and external) stakeholders are committed and moving forward on project and organizational goals and timelines;
•Resolve issues related to the IM/IT infrastructure construction project being supported;
•Prepare project plans, project schedule, design documents, project documentation, charts, tables and diagrams using a variety of project management tools;
•Ensure project timelines are met;
•Develop an implementation plan for the newly developed and engineered construction and security systems;
•Work with the team to develop an In-Service Support plan;
•Provide Quality Assurance (QA) and maintain system integrity;
•Create the ability to generate customized reports for export into various formats; and
•Do other tasks as required and directed by the TA in support of the Client Portfolio projects including and not limited to mentoring new hires, documenting processes, travel, inspection and verification of deliverables.
Qualifications
•Security Clearance: Must hold a valid Canadian Top-Secret clearance for the duration of the contract.
•Controlled Goods Certification: Must have a valid Controlled Goods Certificate as per SRCL.
•Experience with DND/SSC IM/IT Infrastructure: Minimum 10 years of experience working with DND and/or Shared Services Canada (SSC) on IM/IT infrastructure construction projects, including requirements definition, costing, design, and implementation.
•Access Control and Security Systems: Minimum 10 years of experience working on DND and/or SSC access control and security system projects, including requirements, costing, design, and implementation.
•Project Documentation Experience: Proven ability to produce IM/IT Infrastructure construction project documentation, including:
•Statement of Requirements - Infrastructure (SOR-I)
•Statement of Requirements - Information (SOR-IT)
•IT Costing (ROM Costing for building IT costs)
•IM/IT Project Work Breakdown Structures (IM/IT WBS)
•IM/IT Project Accreditation Schedules (IM/IT Schedules)
•Reviewing/commenting on Design Review (DR) documents
•Project Management Certification: Must hold a recognized Project Management certification such as PMP (Project Management Professional).
•Bilingualism: Must be fully bilingual in English and French to support projects across various military bases, including Quebec locations.
